For Lisa's birthday we took Atticus to the Lincoln Park Zoo. Here's a shot from the bridge. As you can see we were pretty close to downtown.
Atticus is still not quite filling his new hat, or even comfortable wearing it, but we'll get there. He does the serious gaze thing well enough.
I'm not even sure what animal we were looking at here. Some from of gnu I'd imagine.
Here he is looking out over the pond.
I think he then figured out that there were no animals in the pond and demanded answers.
I'm glad he could see the funny side eventually. $28 parking meant his father wasn't beaming quite as radiantly.
