Christmas 2012

It's been a crazy month, I had forgotten how all-consuming and tiring a newborn can be. Add colic to the equation and multiply that by a rambunctious toddler and I have a valid excuse for not having been able to find time to put on make-up, do my hair, or get out of my pajamas in the past month. But since it was Christmas I thought I would make an effort. So we cleaned up (by we, I mean me since Ben is British and is always in his Sunday best) and headed on over to my parents house for Christmas Eve dinner.

These are some of Atticus looking extra cute, just couldn't resist.

Grace and Bob came with Colette and dinner was an exercise in logistics with people handing off babies to back and forth to have dinner but in the end good times were had and this mom had enough wine to get a little tipsy (1/5 of a glass). 

Present time = Atticus gets spoiled rotten and everyone else is ignored time.  By the end of unwrapping the presents, Atticus was walking around in a daze just saying, "TOYS"

Highlight of the night was giving my parents a Samsung tablet and my dad laughing his head off, when asked what was so funny he shouted, "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE THIS!"
