Traversing Michigan

We went on a mini holiday this past weekend.  We decided to take a road trip to Traverse City, Michigan.  We had to bribe our little guy with some ice cream to make our trip there a little bearable since he HATES the car seat.

We had a bit of silence so Ben was able to click some cool photos of Indiana (no, this is not an oxymoron).

After spending a night in Big Rapids, we arrived in Traverse City which lived up to its hype of being the second best small town in the US.  Although we don't know what town the first is??

Atticus had some mixed feelings about his first beach experience.  After eating some sand and dunking his feet in cold water, he had had enough.

We then took Atticus to the free Lego exhibit, we've come to the realization that holidays will never be the same.  But it's all worth it to see that smile. :)
