Ben and Atticus awoke from their nap bright eyed and bushy tailed. Atticus actually tricked Ben, he went into the bedroom and said "Atticus sleep daddy" but he had no intention of sleeping. I took this opportunity to capture my three loves. You might be wondering, why would you let Atticus hold a mallet so close to Lowell's head after he whacked him with a wooden spatula the other day? It's because we didn't notice until we were looking at the photos.
After the photo shoot we went to the "big park" where Atticus immediately went to work building up his stick collection. Unfortunately for me, he has learned to pronounce stick so he no longer says "Big dick" every time he sees a big stick.
Ben is obsessed with teaching Atticus how to play football. Every time we go to the park, he makes sure he brings the football to kick around with Atticus. 99.9% of the time he ends up kicking the ball around to himself since Atticus does not have any interest in learning the national sport.
As you can see the park was full of fathers trying to nurture sporting prowess in their sons.
Looks like Ben might have some hope!
I can't believe Lowell is big enough to go on the baby swing. My, how time flies.
