We start with a shot of Father Christmas and our sons on stage at Atticus's school. Lowell is looking at the right camera. Sadly Father Christmas wasn't quite as savvy. It's a complicated business. Fans of Jonny Wilkinson will recognize Atticus's re-enactment of his penalty kick preparations; either that or he's still cradling the baby sparrow he found outside.
Atticus and Lowell in a rare attentive moment at Jahn. We can't see the main act, but they must be teaching how to throw a left hook. Lowell already has this lesson down pat.
A chorus of reinkids. Atticus was actually very entertaining. Looks like our dance classes in the basement are paying off.
He loved it. It was pretty cute.
On to Christmas Eve. The children were tolerably well behaved, and had lots of fun. Although this was Charlotte's second Xmas, this was the first time she joined in the fun.
...buuuuut decided posing was not a high priority.
Colette liked her princess accessories.
And Lowell was enthralled by his fire truck.
My main role consisted of dismantling packages that could have been designed to safely transport plutonium. This was not without its frustrations.

It appears the couch was viewed more as a launchpad than as a backdrop to our photos. I'd like to say things will be better next year, but I can't see it.
Me and the boys on Xmas morning
Later the same day. Hats somewhat successfully adorning skulls.
Lisa's parents enjoyed the great meal Lisa cooked.

What a lovely Xmas you had. We just love the little ones in matching pyjamas. The Xmas play looked so sweet. Lots of love Grandma and GrandpaP.S.Steve is wondering if Atticus is wearing his pyjamas cut down!!!
ReplyDeleteAtticus is wearing the same size PJs as Lowell I think (4yrs). There's just lbs between them now, and 1.5".
